Bob-Hajima(Don't cook!, Gunsan)_밥하지마(군산)

There are a lot of restaurants in Sinheung-dong in Gunsan old city center. There are a variety of menus from seafood to Chinese restaurant, and it is not difficult to visit because it is concentrated in one area. However, there are not many houses where breakfast is available, so I would like to introduce one place to go for a breakfast near the old town.

 군산 구도심 신흥동 일대에는 맛집이 참 많다. 해산물부터 중국집까지 메뉴도 다양하고 한 지역에 밀집해 있어 찾아가기도 어렵지 않다.

하지만 아침식사가 가능한 집은 많지 않아 구시가지 근처 아침식사로 잘 어울릴 만한 곳을 한 군데 소개하고자 한다. 

Breakfast recommended restaurant ' Bob-Hajima'(Don't cook!) is located just in front of Gunsan Modern History Museum and takes about 2 hours and 50 minutes by car from Seoul.

아침식사 추천 맛집 '밥하지마' 는 군산 근대역사박물관 바로 앞에 위치하며 서울에서 승용차로 약 2시간 50분 걸린다.

 It is right in front of Gunsan modern history museum, and there is a large parking lot in front of restaurants. For this reason, this restaurant is easy to use because we don't need to go a long way to find sightseeing area again after breakfast.

 군산 근대역사 박물관 바로 앞에 있으며 음식점 앞 넓은 주차장이 있고 아침식사 후에 다시 관광지를 찾아 먼 길을 갈 필요 없이 때문에 이용하기도 편하다. 

There is a little sign on the front of the restaurant saying ' Bob-Hajima'. (Don't cook) The name of the restaurant is impressive. It seems to be popular among housewives.

 음식점 앞 작은 간판에 '밥하지마'라고 쓰여 있다. 음식점 이름이 인상적이다. 주부들에게 인기가 많을 것 같다. 

Interior is efficient and looks good. It is the concept of a bar and designed to sit on a long table right in front of the kitchen so many guests can use in a small space. There is an advantage that it can be cheap because it provides food and clean table directly from the kitchen without serving employee.

There are two kitchens, one for the Outer leaves jangguk(Clear Soybean Soup) and the other for the Sogogi Muguk(Beef radish soup). Even if you sit anywhere, you can order both food, and both are low price of 4,500 won. 

 내부 인테리어가 효율적이고 멋스럽게 잘 되어 있다. Bar개념으로 주방 바로 앞에 긴 테이블에 일자로 앉게 되어 있는데 좁은 공간에 많은 손님이 이용할 수 있고 별도의 홀 서빙 종업원을 둘 필요 없이 주방에서 음식을 바로 제공하고 다 먹은 음식정리도 편하기에 음식단가를 싸게 할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

 두 개의 주방이 있는데 한 곳은 우거지 장국을 다른 한 곳은 소고기 무국을 만드는 곳이다. 아무 곳에나 앉아도 두 개의 음식 모두 주문이 가능하며 모두 4,500원으로 저렴하다.

 음식점 한 켠에는 재미있고 아기자기한 소품도 가득하다.

It is the appearance of the Outer leaves jangguk. Rice is able to refill as much as we want to eat by self-service.

 우거지 장국의 모습이다. 밥은 셀프로 먹고 싶은 만큼 리필이 가능하다.

 There is also Sogogi Muguk. The side dishes are only with kimchi and Kkakdugi(Diced Radish Kimchi), but I think we don’t need other side dishes to eat hot soup with rice. The price is cheap, but the taste is good enough to eat a simple meal in the morning.

 소고기 무국도 있다. 반찬은 김치와 깍두기뿐 이지만 뜨거운 국물과 밥을 먹는데 다른 반찬은 필요 없지 않겠는가. 가격은 저렴하지만 맛은 아침에 간단히 한끼 식사하는데 손색없을 정도로 훌륭하다.

 We can also eat Gim(Laver) through additional order. It is 500 won per 1 box.

 김은 추가 주문해서 먹을 수 있는데 하나에 500원이다.

Next to the table, there is a seating area for the waiting customers and Nurungji(Scorched Rice) is provided free of charge. If you eat Nurungji while watching the ornaments displayed in the restaurant, time would pass without knowing you are boring. Waiting time is around 15 minutes so it is not too long because these dishes don’t take long time to eat.

 테이블 옆에는 대기하는 손님들이 앉을 수 있는 공간이 있는데 누룽지가 공짜로 제공된다. 전시된 장식품들을 보면서 누룽지를 먹다 보면 기다리는데 지루한 줄 모르고 시간이 지나간다. 먹는데 오래 걸리는 음식이 아니라 대기시간은 길면 15분 정도로 보시면 될 것 같다.

 'Bob-Hajima' seems to be a good place for those who are worried about what to eat for breakfast. It is recommended that you visit this place that produces warm and delicious meals at reasonable prices near sightseeing spots.
