Bicycle Road(Abandoned Neung-nae railway station, Namyangju)_능내역 폐역 자전거도로(남양주)

Korea is improving bicycle roads nationwide since 2008, and there have been many good places for bicycle riding. Although bicycle users are not many compared to Europe and China, the number of cyclists are steadily increasing as the government encourages the public to reduce environmental problems and stabilize oil prices, and as more people are interested in health.

Seoul has bike roads along the Han River, and you can come to Namyangju here if you climb along the road to the Misari.

The scenery is very beautiful compared to Seoul, so if you plan to visit Namyangju, it would be nice to take a short bike trip.

 한국은 2008년 이후 전국의 자전거 도로를 정비하면서 자전거를 타기에 좋은 곳들이 많이 생겨났다. 유럽과 중국 등에 비하면 자전거 이용자 수가 많지는 않지만 환경문제, 유가안정에 도움이 되는 점을 들어 정부에서 권장하기도 하고 국민들의 건강에 관한 관심이 늘어나면서 자전거 이용자들이 꾸준히 증가하는 추세이다. 

서울은 한강변을 따라 자전거 도로가 발달되어 있으며 그 길을 따라 미사리쪽으로 올라오다 보면 이곳 남양주에 올 수 있다. 

 경치는 서울 쪽에 비할 바가 못 되므로 남양주를 방문하실 계획이 있으면 짧은 자전거 여행을 해 보는 것도 좋을 것 같다. 

The bike road of Abandoned Neung-nae railway station is located in Namyangju and takes about 55 minutes by car from Seoul. It can be reached in 5 minutes by car from Dasan Site.

 능내 폐역 자전거 도로는 남양주에 있으며 서울에서 승용차로 약 55분 걸린다. 다산유적지에서는 차로 5분이면 갈 수 있다.

 There are parking lots for a few vehicles near the abandoned railway station, but it should be considered that if many people visit here, it is necessary to park in an empty space near. The parking fee is free.

 The railway station was abolished in 2008, and the railway is still there, but the train is not currently operating. It has been remodeled and used for sightseeing and shelter.

 능내 폐역 주변에 차량 몇 대 정도는 세워 놓을 수 있는 주차장이 있으나 사람들이 많이 방문한다면 근처의 빈 공간에 주차를 해야 한다는 점은 감안해야 할 것이다. 주차비는 무료이다. 

 능내역 폐역은 2008년 역이 폐지된 곳이며 철길은 그대로 남아 있으나 현재 기차는 운행하고 있지 않다. 능내역은 리모델링하여 관광용 및 쉼터로 사용 중이다. 

There is a bicycle rental shop next to the abandoned railway track. Some people come with their own bicycles and ride, but tourists will have to use rental shop. You can rent a variety of bicycles for 1 person, 2 people, electric bicycle. The charge is level of 3,000 won for 1 hour and 10,000 won per day.

폐역 철길 옆에는 자전거 대여소가 있다. 일부는 자신의 자전거를 가지고 와서 타기도 하지만 관광객의 입장에서는 대여소를 이용해야 할 것이다. 1인용, 2인용, 전기자전거 등 다양한 종류의 자전거를 대여할 수 있으며 이용요금은 1인용 일반 자전거 기준 1시간에 3,000원 1일 만원정도 한다고 보시면 되겠다.

There are a side of Paldang station and Yangpyeong side based on the station. The upper part of the picture is to the Yangpyeong side and I personally think that the view of this side is better.

 역을 기준으로 팔당역 방면과 양평 방면이 있는데 그림 위쪽이 양평 방면이며 개인적으로 이 방향이 경치가 더 좋은 것 같다. 

 I have visited this place twice, and from the pictures below are the one which were taken during my ride to Yangpyeong on a clear day.

 필자는 이 곳을 두 번 방문했으며 아래의 사진부터는 맑은 날 방문 시 양평 쪽으로 자전거를 타고 가면서 찍은 사진들이다.

A stunning view along the riverside. When you press the shutter in either direction, a picture which has picturesque scenery would be appeared.

 강변을 따라 멋진 경치가 펼쳐진다. 어느 방향으로 셔터를 눌러도 한 폭의 그림과 같은 사진이 나왔다.

The river that you can see below is the North Han River, and its development is strictly forbidden because it is a source of water used by the citizens of Seoul. Therefore, it is possible to appreciate the view in nature since there is no facility to pollute the river.

 옆에 보이는 강은 북한강으로 서울시민들의 식수로 사용되는 수원지이기에 개발이 철저히 금지되어 있다. 따라서 강변으로 오염을 시킬 만한 시설이 없기 때문에 자연 그대로의 모습을 감상할 수 있다.

If you visit Namyangju, perfect 1day tour course can be made through one half day visit to Dasan site, the Silhak museum, an ecological park, and another half day for a bicycle tour to enjoy the scenery.

 남양주를 관광하실 때 반나절은 다산유적지, 실학박물관, 생태공원을 관람하고 나머지 반나절은 이곳에서 자전거를 타고 경치를 감상한다면 완벽한 1일 관광코스를 만들 수 있지 않을까.
