Jae E restaurant(Ilsan)_재이식당(일산)

In my opinion, old cities have a lot of traditional restaurants, and new towns seem to have many restaurants offering new menus.

Ilsan has many kinds of restaurants as a new city. It seems not true that foreign tourists have to eat Korean food when they visit Korea. I think it is also a pleasure to eat the Korean style world food which localized the world dishes according to the taste of the Korean people.

개인적인 생각으로 오래된 도시들은 전통 있는 맛집들을 많이 가지고 있고 신도시들은 새로운 메뉴를 선보이는 음식점이 많은 것 같다. 

일산은 신도시답게 음식점들의 종류도 여러가지이다. 외국인 관광객들이 한국에 방문할 때 꼭 한국음식을 먹을 필요는 없는 것 같다. 세계요리들을 한국인의 입맛에 맞게 현지화한 음식들을 먹어보는 것도 하나의 즐거움이 아닐까 생각한다.

I stopped by at a Vietnamese restaurant, called Jae E Restaurant, which is famous for Ilsan delicious house. It takes about 45 minutes by car from Seoul.

 일산의 맛집으로 유명한 베트남 음식점 재이식당에 들러 보았다. 서울에서 승용차로 약 45분 거리에 위치한다. 

Address : 142 Sandu-ro, Jeongbalsan-dong, Ilsandong-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do

Outside appearance. Stylish interior attracts attention. Jae E restaurant does not have a signboard, so you should look at the address and look for the restaurant shown below. It may be difficult to find because it is not the appearance of a typical Vietnamese restaurant. Because there is no parking lot, there is the inconvenience of parking on the roadside.

 외부의 모습. 세련된 인테리어가 눈길을 끈다. 재이식당은 간판이 없어 주소를 보고 아래 사진의 음식점을 찾아야 한다. 일반적인 베트남 식당의 모습이 아니라 찾는데 어려울 수 도 있다. 별도의 주차장이 없기 때문에 길가에 주차를 해야 하는 불편이 있다. 

The inside of the restaurant. The kitchen is open and you can see how it is cooked. Nowadays, there are more and more restaurants that add confidence by showing the cooking and cleanliness of the kitchen to customers.

 음식점 내부의 모습 주방이 오픈 되어 있어 조리하는 모습을 볼 수 있다. 요즈음은 주방의 조리 및 청결상태를 손님에게 보여줌으로 신뢰를 더하는 식당이 늘어나고 있는 추세이다.

There are not many menus. Rice noodles with soup, Bibim noodles, Vietnamese sandwiches and chicken are all. Many Vietnamese restaurants use broth which is sold on market to cook rice noodles, and the broth is said to contain a lot of seasonings. So I wondered what the taste of this restaurant's rice noodles would be.

 메뉴는 많지 않다. 국물이 있는 쌀국수와 비빔국수, 베트남식 샌드위치와 치킨이 전부이다. 한국에서 파는 쌀국수들 중 시중에서 판매하는 육수를 사용하는 집이 많다고 하며 그 육수는 조미료가 많이 들어간다고 하는데 이집은 어떤 맛일지 궁금했다.

 I ordered rice noodles, bibim noodles, and sandwiches. First of all, the soup of rice noodles was made directly at this house. The deep taste of the broth was felt, and the flavor of the seasoning was not strong. The texture of noodles was also good.

쌀국수와 비빔국수, 그리고 샌드위치를 주문해 보았다. 일단 쌀국수의 국물은 이집에서 직접 만든 듯 했다.  고기국물의 진한 맛이 느껴졌으며 조미료의 맛은 강하지 않았다. 면발의 식감도 좋아 계속 손이 가는 음식이었다. 

Bibim noodles were fresh with vegetables and sauce. But it was not a special taste compared to other restaurants.

 비빔국수는 신선한 야채와 소스가 어우러져 상큼했다. 하지만 다른 음식점과 비교해 특별한 맛은 아니었다. 

 The sandwich was Vietnamese style and the contents were different from ordinary one. Contents were a pickled radish which is like the one of chicken house and a pork roasted in Vietnamese style. It seems that it did not fit my taste because it is food to eat for the first time.

 샌드위치는 베트남식이라 그런지 내용물이 일반 샌드위치와는 달랐다. 치킨집에서 나오는 절인 무 같은 것과 베트남식으로 볶은 돼지고기가 들어 있었는데 처음 먹어보는 음식이라 그런지 그다지 입맛에 맞지는 않았던 것 같다.

It was a good place to eat a meal in an atmospheric setting in an unusual and sophisticated interior that is different from a typical Vietnamese restaurant. I would like to give a lot of points to clean internal environment.

 일반적인 베트남 음식점과는 다른 이색적이고 세련된 인테리어가 갖춰진 공간에서 분위기 있게 한 끼 식사하기에는 좋은 집이었다. 일단 청결한 내부환경에 점수를 많이 주고 싶다.
