The location of Yun Dong-Ju Literary Museum is exquisite. It is located just below the Changuimun Gate which is one of the main points of the Seoul city wall course. You can visit here after trekking this course or start trekking after visiting the Literary Museum. At the bottom of the Literature Hall is Seochon, and if you go up a little, Buam-dong comes out. Because the nearby residential areas are underdeveloped, the government is promoting the development of the city as an Urban Regeneration Project, and there are many places that retain the old shape of Seoul. Like Seochon, I visited a restaurant with a nice view which is in the beautiful and charming commercial district like Seochon. 

 윤동주 문학관의 위치는 절묘하다. 서울 성곽길 코스의 주요지점 중 하나인 창의문 바로 아래에 있어 성곽길 트래킹을 하고 방문할 수도 있고 윤동주 문학관 관람 후 성곽길 탐방을 할 수도 있다. 문학관 아래쪽에는 서촌이 있으며 위로 조금만 올라가면 부암동이 나온다. 근처의 주거지역들이 낙후된 편이라 정부에서 도심재생사업으로 개발을 추진하고 있으며 서울의 옛 모습을 간직한 곳들이 많다. 서촌과 마찬가지로 아기자기한 상권이 매력적인 이 곳에 전망 좋은 레스토랑이 있다고 하여 찾아가 보았다.

 Adela Bailey is located in Jongno, Seoul. It takes about 25 minutes by bus 1020 or 7016, including walking time, from Gyeongbokgung Station on Subway Line 3. Because there is a parking lot in front of the restaurant, people who use only the restaurant can visit by car. However, if you want to see the many sights around here, please note that the car may be a somewhat cumbersome object.

 아델라 베일리는 서울 종로에 위치하며 지하철 3호선 경복궁 역에서 버스 1020이나 7016을 이용하면 도보 이동시간 포함하여 약 25분 정도 걸린다. 음식점 앞에 주차장이 있으니 레스토랑만 이용하실 분들은 승용차로 오셔도 좋다. 단 주변의 많은 볼거리들을 관람하려면 승용차는 다소 거추장스러운 애물단지가 될 수도 있으니 참고하시기 바란다.

 Yun Dong-Ju Literary Museum does not have a parking lot, so I came to this place by public transportation and visited this restaurant by walking from near the Buam-dong resident center. I have been having trouble finding this referring only to the map, so please look at the picture below and find it without any mistakes.

 윤동주 문학관이 별도로 주차장이 없는 관계로 대중교통을 이용하여 이곳까지 온 터라, 부암동 주민센터 근처에서 걸어서 방문했다. 필자는 지도만 보고 가다가 길을 잘 못 들어 헤매는 등 찾는데 어려움을 겪었으므로 여러분들은 아래 사진을 보고 잘 찾아 가시길 바란다.

 There is an inconvenience to climb the hill, but as you see charming cafes around here climbing up the alleyway, then you arrive at the entrance to the restaurant.

 언덕을 올라가야 하는 불편함이 있지만 오르면서 골목길과 주변의 아기자기한 카페를 감상하다 보면 어느덧 음식점 입구에 다다른다. 

 The road passes between the alleyway and the restaurant, and the stairs are made along the small passage below it.

 골목길과 음식점 사이에 도로가 지나가며 그 아래의 작은 통로를 따라 계단이 나 있다.

 Go up the stairs to the restaurant entrance.

 계단을 올라가면 레스토랑 입구가 나온다. 

 There is nothing around and only this restaurant. It is located at the foot of Mt. Inwangsan, and the surrounding scenery is prominent as it came out to the suburbs.

 How many of the restaurants in the center of Seoul can show such beautiful scenery like this?

 주변에 아무것도 없고 오직 이 레스토랑 뿐. 인왕산 자락에 위치하여 흡사 교외로 나온 것처럼 주변 경관이 탁 트여 있다.

서울 한복판에 자리잡은 음식점 중에 이런 경치를 볼 수 있는 곳이 얼마나 있을까.

 Because there is a parking lot in front of the restaurant, people who use only the restaurant can visit by car. I didn’t need this facility because we came here with sturdy legs….

 음식점 앞에 주차장이 있으므로 이 레스토랑만 방문하실 분들은 승용차를 이용하시는 것도 좋다. 우리는 튼튼한 두 다리로 걸어 올라왔으므로 패스.

 The restaurant was promoting the lunch course. I decided this for lunch today.

 음식점 측에서 런치 코스를 홍보하고 있었다. 오늘 점심은 이걸로 결정.

 The outside of the restaurant is a bit outdated

 음식점 외부는 약간 낡은 듯한 느낌이지만 

 As we walk in, the atmosphere is as luxurious as any other fine restaurant. Especially, the exterior wall around the table is made of glass and there is no building around, so the light coming in everywhere illuminates the inside.

 내부로 들어오니 여느 고급 레스토랑 못지않게 고급스런 분위기가 우리를 맞이한다. 특히 테이블 주변 외벽이 통유리로 되어 있고 주변에 건물이 없어 사방으로 들어오는 빛이 내부를 환하게 비춰준다. 

 What can I eat for lunch? This house is an Italian restaurant specializing in various dishes. I ordered a lunch course. There are several a la carte dishes, so you can enjoy it according to your taste.

 점심으로 무얼 먹을까. 이집은 이탈리안 요리 전문점으로서 다양한 메뉴를 가지고 있다. 필자는 런치 코스를 주문했다. 

여러 단품 요리들도 있으니 취향에 따라 드시면 될 것 같다.

 If you order a lunch menu, you can choose between pasta, risotto and pizza as the main dish. We chose the Margherita pizza and Ragu pasta which is made from sauce that put tomato, vegetables, Beef tenderloin and boiled them for a long time.

런치메뉴를 주문하면 메인요리로 파스타, 리조또, 피자 중에서 하나를 선택할 수 있는데 우리는 토마토, 안심, 야채를 넣고 장시간 끓여낸 소스로 만든 라구 파스타와 마르게리타 피자를 선택했다.

 The employees are very kind. Even though I did not order food for kid separately and ordered only two people for sharing food, the drink was served together with the child. We can think of it as a small consideration, but each one of these small things gather together to give a big impression.

 종업원들이 매우 친절하다. 아이는 따로 음식을 주문하지 않고 나누어 먹을 생각으로 2인분만 주문하였는데 음료수는 아이 것까지 같이 준비해 주었다. 자그마한 배려라고 생각할 수 있지만 이런 작은 것 하나하나가 모여 큰 감동을 선사하기 마련이다.

 The view of Seoul we can see from the table is beautiful. I thought it would be even more wonderful when it comes to spring and flowers.

 테이블에서 내려다 보이는 서울의 경관이 아름답다. 봄이 되고 꽃이 필 때 오면 더욱 근사할 것 같다는 생각이 들었다.

 A salad that tells the start of the course. The vegetables that are eaten with sour and sweet sauces are fresh and the cheese on top of it gives a chewy texture and a savory aftertaste. It was a simple but refreshing food which shows fresh spring.

 코스의 시작을 알리는 샐러드. 새콤달콤한 소스와 함께 먹는 야채가 신선하고 그 위에 올려져 있는 치즈는 쫄깃한 식감과 고소한 뒷맛을 선사한다. 간단하지만 봄의 싱그러움을 느낄 수 있었던 음식이었다.

The bread that was served with salad was just like a morning roll on the market.

 같이 나온 식전빵은 그냥 시중에서 파는 모닝롤 같았다.

 Coffee and beverages included in the course. I wanted to eat after eating but came out with a salad. If you are planning to visit and order a set menu, you may have to tell employee in advance if you want to have a cup of coffee after eating. The coffee flavor was not particularly impressive.

 코스에 포함되어 있는 커피와 음료수. 음식을 먹은 후에 먹고 싶었는데 샐러드와 같이 나왔다 ㅡㅡ; 혹시 방문계획이 있으신 분들은 세트메뉴 주문 시 커피를 나중에 드시고 싶은 경우 미리 말씀하셔야 할 것 같다. 커피맛은 특별히 인상적이지는 않았다.

 Finally, the ordered main dish was served. The sauce of Ragu pasta was quite attractive. I expected ability of the restaurant is half of the scenery and half the food because it is located in a scenic and quiet place but the dish was very delicious unexpectedly.

 드디어 주문한 메인요리가 나왔다. 라구 파스타의 소스는 상당히 매력적이었다. 경치 좋은 한적한 곳에 위치한 레스토랑이라 경치 반 음식 반 정도의 실력일 것이라 예상했는데 의외로 상당히 맛이 있었다. 

 It is made by boiling various ingredients in tomato sauce, and the ingredients are well mixed to give a deep flavor. The spaghetti noodles were also boiled moderately, and texture was good, too. I would like to say that it was the best of the spaghetti I ate recently.

 토마토 소스에 각종 재료를 끓여낸 것이라 재료들이 잘 어우러져 깊은 맛을 낸다. 스파게티 면도 적당히 삶아져 식감도 좋다. 근래 먹었던 스파게티 중에 감히 최고였다고 말할 수 있을 정도였다.

 Next is Margherita Pizza. This food was quite generous. Topping of the pizza are only cheese, tomato sauce and basil, so it is a good food to evaluate the cooking skill of the restaurant. I'm not a food expert, so I could not criticize the tasty of food delicately, but from a regular customer's point of view, I think there would not be a lot of customers who don’t like this big sized pizza, which can taste fresh ingredients.

 다음은 마르게리타 피자. 이 녀석은 양이 상당히 푸짐했다. 피자의 토핑이 치즈, 토마토 소스 그리고 바질만 사용되기에 가게의 요리실력을 알아보기 좋은 음식이다. 필자는 음식 전문가가 아니기에 섬세하게 맛을 평할 수는 없으나 일반 고객의 입장에서 볼 때, 신선한 재료의 맛을 느낄 수 있는 푸짐한 양의 이 피자를 싫어할 손님은 없을 것이라고 생각한다.   

 Cheese topping is also rich, so it is chewy and savory as you chew.

 치즈도 많이 올라가 있어 씹을수록 고소하고 쫄깃하다.

 My son seemed hungry for climbing the hill, so he was waiting for food with a fork.

 아들 녀석도 언덕을 올라오느라 배가 고팠는지 포크를 들고 음식을 덜어 주기만을 기다리고 있다.

 It is also suitable for child taste. Ragu pasta was really delicious.

 아이 입맛에도 맞는가 보다. 라구 파스타는 정말 맛이 있었다.

 Panna cotta that came out after lunch for dessert. It was called Italian sweet pudding, and it is sweet milk tasty with jelly feeling. It feels smooth and soft, just as you can see in the photos.

 식사후에 후식으로 나온 판나코타. 이탈리아식 스위트 푸딩이라고 하는데 우유 맛이나는 젤리 느낌이었다. 달착지근하고 부드러운 느낌, 사진으로 보시는 딱 그대로이다.   

 There is a separate hall on the 2^nd floor of the restaurant. It seems to be a place for group guests. The pictures on the wall tells that it seemed to be also used as a wedding venue.

 음식점 2층으로 올라오면 별도의 홀이 있다. 단체손님을 위한 장소인 듯하다. 벽에 걸린 사진들을 보니 결혼식 장소로도 이용되는 것 같았다.

 The outdoor terrace seemed to be able to eat at the table when the weather got warmer. It is almost the only place in center of Seoul where you can enjoy this kind of composure.

 야외 테라스는 날씨가 좀 더 따뜻해지면 테이블에서 식사할 수 있을 것 같았다. 이런 여유를 즐길 수 있는 곳은 서울 시내에서는 거의 이곳이 유일할 것이다.

 It is only a step up, but the panoramic view is even more wonderful. When flowers bloom and mountains get green, I must come again.

 겨우 한 층 더 위로 올라왔을 뿐인데 탁 트인 전망이 더욱 멋있다. 꽃이 피고 산이 푸르러질 때쯤 꼭 다시와야겠다.

 The relaxation and delicious food that we can enjoy in the center of Seoul. It was hard to find a more appropriate expression to express Adela Bailey except this. It is somewhat difficult to visit by public transportation, but if you take the car, you may loss the chance to see the sights and attractive places of the surrounding area due to limitation of parking area. I would like to say to people who hesitate between the 2 option like this. 'Regardless of which one you choose, you will leave regret so just do what you want.'

 서울 중심에서 즐길 수 있는 한적한 여유와 맛있는 음식. 아델라 베일리를 표현하기에 이보다 적절한 표현을 찾기 힘들었다. 대중교통을 이용해서 방문하기 다소 어렵고 승용차를 가져오자니 주변의 볼거리를 그냥 지나칠 수 없어서 어떻게 할까 고민되는 분들께 말씀드린다. '어느 것을 선택해도 후회가 남으니 그냥 편한데로 하시라' 고.
