Rencontre_ Bakery in Gyeongju(경주 랑꽁뜨레 제과점)

 There is a bakery run by a master baker of Gyeongbuk province in Gyeongju City apartment complex. It is Rencontre which I visit here every time I come Gyeongju. The so called baguette which is grain bread has hard texture of food is the main product of this house and it is quite delicious. The soft taste of inside of bread and savory flavor is that cannot be enjoyed anywhere.

 It is 5 minutes walk from Man seok jung and it takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes by car from Seoul.

경주 시내 아파트 단지 골목길에 경상북도 최고 제과명인이 운영하는 제과점이 있다. 바로 랑콩뜨레 라는 업소인데 필자는 경주에 들를 때마다 이곳을 방문하여 빵을 사간다. 소위 말하는 바게트 라 불리는 딱딱한 식감의 곡물빵이 이 집의 주력 상품인데 상당히 맛있다. 부드러운 식감에 고소한 뒷맛은 아무데서나 맛볼수 없는 맛이다.

 만석정에서 걸어서 5분 거리에 있으며 서울에서는 승용차로 약 3시간 30분 걸린다.

The appearance from the outside and inside of the store are no different from other ordinary bakery. I do not know why I imagine ‘The little Match Girl’ whenever I see a bakery outside at night. haha

밖에서 보이는 모습과 매장 내 모습은 여느 평범한 빵집과 다를게 없다. 밤에 제과점을 밖에서 보면 왜 성냥팔이 소녀가 생각나는지 잘 모르겠다. ㅎㅎ

 There are many other type of breads in this shop, however

다른 빵들도 많이 있지만

 These are the addictive breads which lead me to this bakery. So called Hard ones...

 Maybe you will not be disappointed with this bread.

 바로 이 빵들이 필자를 항상 이 가게로 이끄는 중독성 있는 것들이다. 일명 딱딱한 놈들. 

아마 여러분들도 드셔보시면 실망하지 않을 것이다.

 The mini cake looked good so I bought and take it to hotel. The actual taste was not much different from other bakeries. Baguette seems to be the best in Rencontre.

맛있어 보여서 사온 미니 케이크. 실제 맛은 다른 제과점과 크게 다르지 않았다. 역시 랑콩뜨레는 딱딱한 빵이 진리인가 보다.
