Haeam raw fish restaurant_경주 감포 해암 회센타

After visiting the tomb of King Munmu, I visited the Haeam raw fish restaurant, which is about 5 minutes away by car. Koreans like to eat sashimi with the seaside view. It is also recommended here for those who want to enjoy sashimi with the sea view from Gampo beach near royal tomb of king Munmu. I don’t want to say this is not tasty restaurant but it is not enough to come to this place just for this meal.

 

문무대왕릉을 관광한 후 차로 약 5분거리에 있는 해암회센터를 찾았다. 

한국사람들은 바닷가 경치를 보면서 회를 먹는 것을 좋아한다. 이곳도 맛 보다는 문무왕릉 근처 감포해변에서 바닷가 경치를 보면서 회를 즐기고 싶은 분들께 추천한다. 맛이 없다는 것은 아니고 일부러 회를 먹기 위해 이 곳까지 올 정도의 맛집은 아니라는 이야기이다.

The Haeam raw fish restaurant is located in Gyeongju Gampo and is about 4 hours and 30 minutes from Seoul by car.

해암 회센터는 경주 감포에 있으며 서울에서 승용차로 약 4시간 30분 거리에 있다.

It is medium sized restaurant having ‘eating on the floor’ type table.

그리 크지 않은 중간 규모의 식당. 여기도 바닥에 앉아 먹는 좌식이다.

 I ordered one of the most popular menus of the restaurant, Cold Raw Fish Soup, Raw Fish Bibimbap, and grilled fish for the kids to eat. The overall taste was plain, and the grilled fish had little to eat comparing to the price. If I come next time, it would be better for the child to eat only the side dish and the rice.

 Special thing of this restaurant is to make water source for Cold Raw Fish Soup. It is made by putting shaved ice into red pepper paste and shows more fresh taste.

주문은 이 식당의 인기메뉴인 물회와 회덮밥, 그리고 아이가 먹을 수 있도록 생선구이를 하나 주문했다. 

전체적인 맛은 평범했으며 생선구이는 가격대비 먹을 것이 별로 없었다.

다음에 오게 되면 아이에게는 그냥 밑반찬과 밥을 먹이는 편이 나을 것 같았다. 

물회의 경우 다른 곳과 달리 고추장에 얼음을 갈아 넣는 방식으로 물을 만들어 좀 더 시원한 맛을 느낄 수 있었다.
