Man seok jung(Korea Style BBQ restaurant)_경주 만석정

 Koreans like to eat grilled meat. On pleasant days or anniversaries, they often gather with family or friends together and grill various meat and enjoy them with Soju and Beer. It would be easy to understand this system is similar to indoor barbecue culture.

 The restaurant to be introduced at this time is called Man seok jung which is famous in Gyeongju. You can come here by a 20-minute drive from the tomb Seol Chong.

It takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes by car from Seoul.

Even though it is located on the alley between the apartment complex and the road is a bit complicated, but parking is not difficult because this restaurant has parking lot. 

한국사람들은 고기 구워먹는 것을 좋아한다. 

기분 좋은 날이나 기념일에는 가족 친구들과 종종 고깃집에 모여 고기를 구워 소주, 맥주와 맛있는 식사를 하곤 한다.

서양식 바베큐 문화를 실내로 축소하여 가지고 온것이라 보면 이해하기 쉬울 것이다.

이번에 소개할 고기집은 경주의 맛집으로 알려진 만석정이라는 곳이다. 설총묘에서 차로 약 20분정도 이동하면 들러 볼 수 있으며

서울에서는 승용차로 약 3시간 30분 정도 걸린다. 

아파트 단지 내 골목길에 위치해서 가는 길은 좀 복잡하지만 주차장이 있어 주차는 어렵지 않게 할 수 있었다.

 When you enter, you may see owner of restaurant who trim meat in front of you. In my experience, I think that it is generally tasty restaurant if meat trimming is done by themselves.

 

 들어가면 정면에 사장님이 고기 손질하는 모습을 볼 수 있는데 경험상 음식점에서 고기손질을 직접하는 경우 맛이 없는 경우는 거의 없다고 본다.

 Usually Menu prices of meat are made based on 150g, 200g per person in Korea. This restaurant menu shows 100g per person. At first glance, it seemed cheap, but I think it would give customer bad image because some of them consider it as a kind of cheating. The price level of meat around rib is a little cheaper compared to a typical meat house, and the rest is average level.

 보통 한국에서는 150g, 200g을 1인분기준으로 보고 메뉴판 가격이 만들어 지는데 여기는 특이하게 100g기준 메뉴판이다. 얼핏 보기에 가격이 싸 보이기는 하지만 일종의 눈속임으로 보고 안좋은 이미지를 줄 수도 있겠다는 생각이 들었다. 가격 수준은 일반적인 고기집에 비해 갈비살은 조금 저렴한 편이고 나머지는 평균 정도라고 보면 되겠다.

The side dish combination shows good harmony with meat and it is good to eat. Meat is also soft and savory because meat quality is excellent and it is grilled on charcoal.

가장 중요한 음식 맛은? 상당히 맛있는 집이라고 평가하고 싶다. 

반찬도 고기와 먹으면 좋을 구성으로 되어있으며 고기들도 기본적으로 질이 좋은 상태에서 숯불에 구우니 부드럽고 고소했다.

 Pork belly which I ordered additionally was also delicious. I recommend this place if you come to Gyeongju and want to find a meat house that you can enjoy grilled meat with glass of soju and beer in the evening.

추가로 주문한 오겹살도 맛있었다. 경주에 들러 저녁에 소맥 한잔과 같이 먹을 수 있는 고기집을 찾는다면 이곳을 추천한다.
